Program Description

Event Details

Get ready for The Great Slide-Off, a playful PowerPoint party where participants create short, fun presentations on the quirky topic of their choice, anything from “Why My Cat Could Lead a Small Nation,” “The Ultimate Ranking of Breakfast Cereals,” or “Evidence My House Plants Are Judging Me.”

All presentations must be appropriate for a public library setting, and participants will be required to send staff a link to their completed slides ahead of time for review. During the event, presenters will take turns sharing their slideshow using a laptop provided by the library.

At the end of the night, we’ll hand out prizes for Funniest Presentation, and Crowd Favorite.

We’ll provide snacks and refreshments. All you need is your topic and your flair!

Registration is required for presenters only. Anyone coming to watch or cheer them on does not need to register.

Please send presentations to ccope@marshallcolibrary.org
