You have the day to yourself. What is your prime reading location?
On a hammock outdoors.
My bed. There’s nothing like cuddling up with a good book.
A coffee shop, preferably a seat next to a window.
On the couch with a blanket and my favorite hot beverage.
At the library in a comfy chair.
In your eyes, how should a book make you feel?
Exhilirated, like I've entered into a new and fantastical world.
All warm and cozy, like a giant hug.
On edge, like I'm being watched.
Calm and peaceful, like I'm at the spa.
Intelligent., I want to learn while I'm reading.
Do you prefer standalones or book series?
Book series. I always know what to read next!
Standalones. No commitment. No cliffhangers. Perfect.
Either. I'll pick up anything if I like the genre or author.
Series are fine, but I won't read anything that has more than 3 books.
What is something a book must have?
A fast pace. I want to be hooked from the start
A love triangle. Give me ships or give me death.
A mystery. I like to play detctive.
A plot twist. Things are more interesting when they're unexpected.
What is something that is an immediate turn off for you?
Magic. Let's keep things realistic.
Cliches. I want to read something original.
Romance. It's fine as a subplot, but not as the main event.
History. I prefer my stories in the present time.
Spice. I prefer my stories mild, please.
