The Marshall County Public Library is hiring a full-time entry-level library assistant. This position will provide support to the youth services and facilities departments. Typical duties include preparing materials for and assisting the Children's Librarian with programming aimed at toddlers, preschoolers, and/or elementary-aged students; assisting families at the youth services circulation desk; light outdoor work, including removing trash from the grounds of all three library branches; and minor facility upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs.

This is a 40-hour-a-week position that will include some evenings and weekends. The pay rate is $14-$16/hr, dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement. High school degree or equivalent and reliable transportation required.
