LIBRARY TO IMPLEMENT WINTER HOURS BEGINNING IN DECEMBER
All three branches of the Marshall County Public Library will alter its hours from Dec. 1 to March 31.
During this period of time, the library’s Calvert City and Hardin branches will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, while the Benton branch will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday only and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All three branches will continue to offer after-hours pick-up.
"With the ability to provide after-hours pickup at all three branches, we can now put the majority of our energy and staff into being in the library during daylight hours when the overwhelming majority of our patrons visit,” said director Tammy Blackwell. “We plan to go back to full evening hours this spring."
For after-hours pick-up, call the library at (270)-527-9969, ask for your library branch, and request the material you would like. Staff will then provide a door code to enter the building at your convenience.
