Renaissance
Faire
July 2010
Our 3rd Annual EoSME featured Queens, Knights, and an epic
cardboard tube war.
Zombie
Survival Seminar
October 2010
We marked Teen Read Week with a lesson on what to do when the
zombies begin to take over.
Costume Ball
August 2009
Our 2nd Annual End of Summer Mega-Event featured costumes,
live music, and tons of prizes!
Murder in
the Park
May 2009
This annual even for all ages is held at Mike Miller Park in
May. The event is presented by YAAP.
Twilight
Carnival
August 2008
Our first ever End of Summer Mega-Event coincided with the
release of Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn. We took advantage by throwing
a Twilight-themed carnival at Mike Miller Park.
Harry Potter
Reading Room
July 2007
We celebrated the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows by transforming part of the Calvert City Library into the Gryffindor
Reading Room, complete with Harry Potter decorations and chocolate frogs.
