Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Miss Tammy

Twilight could be one of the most popular Young Adult novels ever written (if you forget about that boy wizard for a moment), and its popularity is well deserved.  It's full of mystery, romance, action, and one really hot vampire.  Bella moves from sunny Phoenix to rainy Forks to live with her dad.  There she meets Edward, a beautiful vampire who injects her life with passion and adventure.  I highly recommend this book for anyone over the age of 12 (because it does get a little scary in parts), even for people who think they don't like vampire stories.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Mrs. Sandy

Twilight is the best book I've read in years.  It's romance, action, and drama all rolled into one.  It's an awesome vampire story that you won't want to put down until you get to the end and then you're looking for the next book.

Review by Sharon

Twilight is a really good book.  It's one of those books that once you start reading it you can't stop.  I recommend reading this book.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Shelia Marie

When Bella Swan moves in with her father, Charlie Swan, she's exceptionally unhappy. Being from Arizona, damp, rainy, Forks, Washington, isn't her cup of tea, until life starts changing. She meets the mysterious and ridiculously handsome Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen and his interesting family, bring excitement, danger, and love. Bella and Edward find themselves falling into new love, a new life, a new world, and new danger. It my opinion, Twilight, is a great read. Any reader will love it.  I'm giving Twilight five stars.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Princess

I loved this book. I always felt like I was in the story with Bella and Edward, and I was watching them in a movie. I couldn't put it down, I just had to finish it. Now, I can't wait to read the following books.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Princess

I took away two stars right off the bat for this book. I felt like Bella when Edward left and it really brought the book down. I hated the way it made her feel, it was so stupid for him to leave. I am soooo glad he came back at the end though, I just hope their relationship will last.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Miss Tammy

You know how the cover of Breaking Dawn doesn't exactly match the covers to the other three books?  Well, the same could be said for what lies behind the cover.  Breaking Dawn, the much anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, lacked some of the passion, flow, and personality of Meyer's previous novels.  (It also contains some scenes that may not be appropriate for some younger readers.)  My major complaints would be that the novel seemed to both rush and lag; not enough time was spent with the Cullen family; the ending seemed very anti-climatic; and Renesseme is the dumbest name ever invented.  Of course, the book did have its moments of glory, but none ever seemed to reach the level of the previous three books.  Fortunately, I don't think this is the last we'll see of the gang from Forks.  Or, at least, I really hope not.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Review by Miss Tammy

The Host is not Twilight.  There is no Edward or Bella or Jacob.  No one bites, or has the craving to bite, anyone.  Nobody sparkles, nor can they run at incredible speeds.  No, the characters in The Host are decisively human...even the alien.  The Host is not a YA novel, but its "adult" status was not determined by language and sexual content.  Instead, the book focuses on adults and problems that seem more mature than those faced in Twilight.  I really loved this books and I think teen readers will enjoy the story of Wanderer, Melanie and Jared too.
