Identification is required. A driver’s license or student ID is preferred; however, any other official ID or two non-pictured ID’s may be acceptable. If ID does not have a local address, proof of address must be provided. Proof of address can come in the form of utility bill or non-personal mail.
Applicants under the age of 17 are required to have a parent or guardian give their consent on the application form. The parent or guardian that signs the application form (along with the juvenile applicant) accepts all legal responsibility for material checked out on that card. This parental signature is not required for children who are renewing cards.

All library cards expire after 5 years. In order to renew a library card, patrons must clear all outstanding fines & overdue library material and verify registration information.

EXCEPTION: There will not be a charge to obtain a new library card due to a name change.
