Message from the Director

Welcome to the Marshall County Public Library System. Marshall County is served by three libraries -- @Benton, @Calvert City, and @Hardin – as well as a Bookmobile. The mission of the Library is to provide equal opportunity access to information, high-quality book & multimedia materials, programs, exhibits, and online resources to meet the needs of the community.

Use of the Library continues to grow as our services expand. Did you know that the MCPLS had more than 215,000 visitors last year and circulated more than 500,000 items? That total increases when we include eBooks and downloadable audio checkouts from our library! We are pleased that the community utilizes the Library and its services. We strive to keep up with the latest technology, provide additional programs, and continue to develop great collections to circulate.
