Ivanhoe by
Sir Walter Scott
Review by Inkgirl
Can't find anything to read?
Try something that has been around and survived through the years.
Ivanhoe, the tale of a young Saxon knight after
the Norman invasion. Set in the time of the Plantagenets, Ivanhoe is
a story with everything: knights in shining armour, battles, tournaments,
fair maidens, racism, rouge kings, mystery knights, merry outlaws, and
despicable villains.
It may be a bit of a tough read for some; but a
truly great book. Read the classics. There's a reason they
have that title and have survived for so long. |
