Life As
We Knew It by Susan Pfeffer
Review by Lexi
 A
wonderful story that explains a person's point of view if the moon were to
be knocked closer to the Earth. The main character suffers through
hardships in love, friends, family, warmth, and food. |

Life As
We Knew It by Susan Pfeffer
Review by Miss Tammy
 What
would happen if a rogue asteroid knocked the moon a couple of miles closer
to Earth? According to this book, lots of stuff...and none of them
good. Tsunamis. Volcanoes. Earthquakes. Life As
We Knew It is written in the form of a journal kept by a girl that has
to live through all these horrible things. The author does such an
amazing job of conveying the fear, pain, hunger, exhaustion, and general
wretchedness of life after the moon incident that it had me wanting to
stock pile canned goods in anticipation of a similar disaster.
Warning: you may not want to read this book if you are easily given to
paranoia. |
