13 Little
Blue Envelopes
by Maureen Johnson
Review by Miss Tammy
 Ginny's
eccentric aunt has just passed away, but that doesn't mean that she's done
teaching Ginny about life. Upon her aunt's passing Ginny receives a
package of letters and instructions to go to Europe. The letters
have Ginny traveling all over Europe, a place full of adventures,
heartache, and, of course, boys. This book is extremely well written
and makes you long for a little jaunt across the pond for yourself. |

Devilish
by Maureen Johnson
Review by Miss Tammy
 What
would you do if your best friend sold her soul to the devil? That's
the problem facing Jane Jarvis, a senior at an all-girl Catholic school in
Rhode Island. When her best friend, Ally, suddenly goes from goof to
glam Jane's world turns upside down. Suddenly her dependable friend
is never around, she keeps running into a motley assortment of random
freaks, and odd things begin happening around her sleepy New England
community. It's a story that could get a little ridiculous, but ends
up being as scrumptious as the cupcake on the book's cover.

Suite
Scarlett
by Maureen Johnson
Review by Miss Tammy
 Scarlett
lives in an old hotel in New York city. When an eccentric old lady
shows up in the suite to which she's been assigned for the summer her life
takes an interesting turn. I really enjoyed all the characters in
this book (especially Charlie) and laughed out loud on more than
one occasion. |
