The
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Review by Miss Tammy
It's the ultimate reality show. The whole nation
watches as 24 teenagers are placed in a cruel arena. To survive they
must fight hunger, the environment, the game, and each other. The winner
will be lavished in riches and glory. The losers will die.
Katniss is used to having to fight to survive.
She breaks the law to hunt in the forest to provide food for her family.
She's learned how to trade and barter to get what she needs. But
is it enough to survive the Hunger Games? And how can you possibly
win when doing so will mean killing someone you care about?
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is not just a
good book, it's an amazing book. Collins has written a book that
will take you through a range of emotions while making you think, yet
the book is still a quick, easy read. The best part? It's
the first in what promises to be an amazing series.
