Santa is visiting the Library in December!
Wednesday, December 18 @Benton -- Santa will visit during the Mother Goose program @ 10AM and again during Story Hour @ 1PM.
Thursday, December 19 @Hardin -- Santa will visit during the Story Hour program @ 1PM.
Saturday December 21 @Calvert City -- Santa will be visiting starting @ 1PM.
The Marshall County Library will be on the Court Square after the Christmas parade on Saturday, December 14th @ 6:30PM! There will be story time, snacks, crafts, and you'll even see that mean ol' Grinch. Parade begins @ 5:15PM.

Please call 270-978-4392 to schedule an appointment with Sue Hood, a kynector with Kentucky's Healthcare Connection. She will be @Benton on Friday's to assist people in signing up for health insurance. Appointments are necessary.

K-12 students can have their late fees* forgiven just by reading books! Books must be read in the library, in view of a library employee. (Be sure to let the librarian know you're going to be reading away your late fees before you start so they'll know to set the timer!) You get $1.00 in late fees forgiven for every 15 minutes you read! For more information, talk to the Children's Librarian at your branch.
* - We cannot forgive lost or damaged material fees.
The Marshall County Public Library has published the newly developed digital archive under our website's Resources section! The index is available through our website with a valid patron ID, can access AND SEARCH newspapers from as far back as 1891, and will soon offer public records--including birth, marriage, death, census, court orders, deeds, wills, and tax lists from as far back as 1787!
