iPhone/iPad/iPod: eBooks from OverDrive

Getting Started

You can use OverDrive's mobile app to borrow and enjoy eBooks and audiobooks from the library on your iOS device (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch).

Step 1

Download the OverDrive Media Console (OMC), from one of the following:

Step 2

Open OMC and find our OverDrive library website by swiping from left to right to open the Home menu, then tapping Add a library.

  • Tap the star to save our library's website to your library list.

  • Tap our library's name to start browsing.

Step 3

Log into our OverDrive-powered website with your library card and borrow a book.

Step 4

Find borrowed books under your account in our library website. You can:

*Note: To read eBooks in OMC, follow the prompts to authorize your device with an Adobe ID. It's a one-time, free process that takes just moments to complete.

After School Program (during the school year)

Children, Kindergarten through 6th Grade

Thursdays @Hardin, 3:30pm - 4:30pm

The After School Program provides students in Grades K-6 the opportunity to meet with peers and enjoy a blend of fun and excitement with learning in the local public library.  Participants will enjoy a program designed to foster and enhance the experience of reading through a variety of activities including games, arts, crafts, small group interaction, and occasionally a short video.  The program's agenda flexes to permit changes as expressed by the students.  Students will discover and explore new skills that promote the development of life long reading.  A small snack will be provided.
